  Finlays is an outdoor country fishing town themed eatery which we loved. It's like having a BBQ out the back with your mates! Simple to order at the counter where the huge board menu is located and then listen for your number to go collect your meal and then choose from the scrumptious selection of salads to add to your delicious meal! There is open dining even right near the warm fire, or there are some more covered cosy areas if you prefer. I gave them 5 stars because they don't pretend to be fine dining, but if you like the outdoors, BBQ style food and love to BYO, then this is the place for you, don't miss trying it out! It gets very busy during the school holidays so prepare to wait, but hey if you have your esky next to the table that shouldn't be a problem :)

  We had one fish and chips and Angus burger and some very nice prawns with garlic and leak. good value and the service was great. nice night.

  You can't to Kalbarri without trying Finlays Fish and chips. Fresh and delicious. Unusual surroundings. A piece of local history. If the boss has time to talk he tells a good story

  Outdoor dining , firepit. Good food .unfortunetly findlays has closed down until jan/feb 2018 .reopening with new owners after some renos and maintenance.

  WOW this place is a joke! $35 for a piece of red emperor which was suppose to be BBQ'd but comes out lightly floured & shallow fried & was like eating cardboard...the kitchen is open & there is no sign of a BBQ just 13 year old kids cooking! The set up & atmosphere is a great idea but the food is honestly terrible...save your money!! Oh & the toilets are disgusting, I took my little girl into one & almost vomited...a used tampon sitting in the corner & urine every where & the place had only just opened.
